Progressive Industries Portable RV Surge Protector EMS PT30X RV Surge Protector

Purchased March 2019 from Progressive Industries Direct.

Note pictures of contacts. No burning or arcing. Which is a big issue.

Duct tape strip across cover is there??? I don't recall why LOL Does not affect operation.

Operates as it should. Need a 50 Amp unit for new trailer.

Beware of Scams

Decent price on a good unit, I have same. I wonder if the protection policy extends to someone other than original owner.

No, unless they changed their policy, which I doubt. Warranty is to original purchaser only.

If I was going to purchase an EMS, it dang sure would NOT be used. Especially one that has duct tape on it;) You can get a new one for $238 from United RV and not have concerns over the past usage/abuse and warranty.

Dang indeed!

Well you have definitely performed your due diligence and saved the Forest River Community from another unscrupulous seller. Well Done!

I have removed the offending duct tape and cleaned the unit. Maybe I should raise the price now?

Cosmetically it is now Good. And still works. :trink39:

The important thing is that the plug and outlet are clean and no evidence of arcing.

I needed and bought a new 50 amp unit. Now I have no money left for Christmas. I guess I wont be getting this massive windfall of $150 either. :roflblack:

This is my first sale attempt on here and there is something I am missing. But here goes.

Have a Merry Christmas Everyone.

From the web site.

This is a non-transferable Lifetime Warranty. It applies only to the original owner and covers only those products purchased from an authorized dealer, retailer, or seller. This warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship. A proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
