How do you remove the covers? I have one that is dented yet not severely and could be replaced if I know how to remove the covers. Any info is appreciated.

My covers were impossible to remove. I have a cracked one because of it. They were actually glued together and could not be separated. Noticed that after I decided to just pull the speakers out with the screws still in. No damage to the thin-walled ceiling, I'll just plug the holes. I figured with a razor knife, the covers could possibly be separated, that's what I would do, but I replaced the entire speakers. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

pclevel1- could you tell me what speakers you replaced them with? I'm wanting to replace ours. Thanks.

(4) Alpine SPS-M601W 6.5" 440 Watt 2-Way Marine Boat Coaxial Speakers - White. Bought four of them on Ebay from Audio Savings $122.
They sound much better, and fit in the existing magnet hole. Gotta move the wires around and out of the way. Most likely will have to plug the screw holes of the other speakers.
